      DVDs play sometimes, sometimes not

      Hi,
      My DVD's will play on some machines and not on others, or sometimes on a machine and then not another time. I assume this is encoding, I have the high compatability mode checked. Any other ideas?

      Thanks

      Always the same media from the same pack? as it could be media related;
      every player has it's own media preference; that's why quality/compatible media are strongly recommended;

      So what media would you recommend? My main DVD player is an Xbox. Are there other players that are more forgiving?

      the media must be compatible with your DVD burner and the standalone player; have a look at the fabricators homepages for media recommendations;

      Depends on the dvd player as just had mine modded, and his was samsung brand and mine was thompson. Not 100% sure but looks like it only recognizes -R DVD media.
