I never tried running it without the Xvid codecs. Don't think it will work with only ffdshow. Maybe you solution will work.

I have a little problem with ffdshow and tfm. I need to use ffdshow because after I tried installing normal xvid sound and video is a bit out of sync. But then with ffdshow tfm won't encode using cce or procoder so I'm stuck. Is there any way that I can encode using ffdshow? I have one small idea but I'm not sure if it would work. What about installing normal xvid and then replacing it's files with xvid files from ffdshow? Can be a bit difficult because it's hard to find all xvid files in windows folder.
