      bbmpeg problem.....!

      Hi,

Great program by the way.I`ve managed to make a VCD with Greek subs...worked just fine (created 2 bin files)....when I tried to make a SVCD though a got an error with bbmpeg!....a DOS window was stuck there doing nothing.....is it because I minimized the windows to the taskbar? Why did it worked before when I created a VCD and now that I`m creating a SVCD I got stuck with bbmpeg?

      Thanks

I think the problem lies in the following:

Could not find second encoding window, checking again...
Still could not find second encoding window, checking again...
      TFM_Project_File.ecl encoded at 11:20:49 μμ
My program cannot find the second encoding window so there is no encoded videostream, resulting in the hang of bbMpeg.

Maybe you have too many background processes running or maybe you computer specs are too low. I don't know the exact reason.

Nope....my computer is pretty fast btw....AMD 1700+@2400+ 1250mb Ram.....I`ve solved the problem anywayz!......I don`t know if a fresh install of Windows (I formated the hard drive ) did it or maybe because I haven`t minimized the main window during the encoding.....one thing is for sure....IT WORKED!

I`ve also installed the K-lite codec pack prior of installing the mpg codec and the filmmachine. No conflicts however!

Now I have another problem to solve....if I choose 800mb cd SVCD the final image cuts in 2 parts intead of 1 (which was my starting choice) (one image of 800 and so mbs and another that is only 5mb!).I`ll try to make a 74min encoding and see if I end up with one image instead of one.

This is because of the Variable Bitrate. I cannot predict the filesize exactly because to the VBR. Sometimes 2 files are created instead of 1.
