      framerate difficulties

      okay.. i got the program working, it burns just fine, the audio is great, the picture is great, no pixelation problems or anything.. but the framerate is really choppy. the audio goes with the picture, but it's just like every other frame isn't being read. it's like this throughout the entire movie, it doesn't get faster or slower, it stays at the same rate all the way through. the actual avi file has a 23.9760 fps.. i think that's standard. i'm using cce, with 4 passes... i don't have canopus procoder. are both necessary? or is one better than the other? i'm burning onto a 4.7 gig dvd....... anybody know of anything i should be doing differently??

      it's choppy on my tv.. i can't view it on my comp, because i lack a dvd rom... but the avi itself plays just fine.
      EDIT: oh, oops.. my dvd-rw can read dvd's.. yeah, it's choppy on both.

      What version of CCE 2.67 are you running?

      If its 2.67.00.27 (has MANY reported problems), then I'd suggest you back track and use either 2.67.00.23 or better still ver 2.50.

      another method is using Nero's image recorder and then loading the result into Nero's image drive; so you are able to pre-check the video before burning;

      Sorry, but I've never used TFM to make a SVCD. I'ts been 2 years or more since I have ever made one as well and none were ever choppy back in those days.
