      Question Pixelation Probs

I generally find TFM an excellent prog to convert .avi files. But some conversions are very pixelated, especially on complicated film background scenes or colours. Is this normal and considered acceptable?

I know that the source .avi quality is important but it seems to happen to some degree on high or low quality source.

I use Canopus Procoder on High Quality and 2-Pass.

Could I improve on my results? Is it worth trying another conversion prog? Any comments would be gratefully received.

You could try Cinema Craft Encoder version 2.50 or 2.67. Works fine for me.
Personally I find it better then Procoder, but other find Procoder to be the better program. Try it and decide for yourself.
