It is a QuEnc problem. This video encoder is still in beta stage and has the tendency to drop a lot of frames. If so than Mplex will stop muxing the audio and video if there are too many framedrops.

Solution: Try CCE or Procoder 2.0

Been having the same problem as mrgoolie with I Robot. I don't know what's wrong. Everything goes fine, looks like it is doing everything right but the ending result is a lot shorter movie. Like for some reason, only about 1gig worth of data is in the folder. Would really appreciate for any help on this. I'm using procorder.

An easy to use, wizard-like, AVI, MP4, HD-MOV, RMVB and MKV to DVD conversion utility

    9. #9
I have the exact same problem using CCE 2.67. I end up with a movie with a duration (MediaPlayer) of 60 minutes - when last chapter is reached - video stops, but the sound continues for the "real" duration of the movie . All of my drives are NTFS. Log:

      maybe it's because it's a notebook? amd 2500+ mobile, 512mb ram, 60 gig ntfs...
      please help me

    12. #12
That should not make a difference.

Maybe you can check the frames of the movie. What does it say on my AviInfo screen and how many frames does Virtualdub or Virtualdubmod see.

the match, is it possible that my cpu or harddisk becomes to hot in de encoding process, cause sometimes my movie is whole, and then sometimes he ' s only a gig... so i'm thinking it has to deal with my cpu or hd.
i'm using an other pc for the moment from a friend, and there it seems that it works great... don't know what to do.
maybe i can manually set the encode process at lower speed?
      thanks man
