I believe the same thing is now happening to me. After using The FilmMachine with CCE 2.67 successfully many times, for some reason I no longer get any contents in the \Output\DVD folder but I do get a complete .mpg in the \Output folder.

I can then demultiplex the .mpg in DVD-lab but why do I have do this now? I don't know of any setting in TFM to change this behaviour.

OK, I've found I still have this problem even if I use Canopus Procoder instead of CCE, even if I use the new 1.4 beta, even if I uninstall and reinstall 1.3. The log files do indicate a consistent error: "**ERROR: [mpeg2enc] malloc failed". Here's a log file:

      This is an memory problem:

      INFO: [mpeg2enc] Buffering 39 frames
      **ERROR: [mpeg2enc] malloc failed
      Encoding Background jpeg finished.

Try again with as little programs running in the background as possible.

Technically it was a lack of virtual memory. I have 1GB of RAM and a while back I turned off all the virtual memory as that increases overall performance. But I guess a few programs like yours will fail without VM.

But thanks - TFM is a great program.
