FAT32 does NOT allow files bigger than 4GB.
If you want to create DVDs you need a NTFS partition, otherwise an error will occur when the 4GB limit is reached.
I suppose FAT32 will be OK for (S)VCD, but for DVD, forget it!

During ecoding the *.vaf file the following message occurs :
'could not write *.vaf file' , windows error 0X70112.
I am running W2K, hard disks formatted fat32.
If you recognize this problem please help !!

Thank you. That must be the problem;small AVI movies convert
without any problem.
I'll make an NTFS partition and try again.
