Question Problem at starting up The Filmmachine 1.3

      Strange.
Installed the Filmmachine 1.3 , and the program started up a few times.
The program started up a few times more, now it does'nt any longer, this is a problem that occures both before installing SP2 and after (WinXP Pro, Norwegian)

I atteched the file generated by Windows, for those people that understand that kind of information :-)

      Is this a bug??

      Thanks

Maybe you better can install the latest beta version, get it here.

      OK, I'll try the beta.
But after being lucky to start the program up, I tried to make a DVD of to avi's, with subtitles. Al seemed to go well, and after some time Canopus started to do it's work. That would take about 3,5-4 hours, but after about half an hour I got back to my PC, and Canopus had stopped and was gone, leaving me with a result in C:\Programfiler\The FilmMachine\Output\DVD of one file: VTS_01_0.VOB with a size of 56 KB.

      What is going wrong?
      I have attached the log-file

I see nothing strange in the log file, maybe you can try it with CCE. If that works than maybe there is something wrong with the implementation of Canopus Procoder 2. I don't think so because nobody has complained about it yet.

      Try a clean machine

      Many problems occurred a time ago...Here an overview of some testing scenario's I used...Yes, still happy (AVI/DIVX {incl. adding subs} >> DVD).
      The best way is to start with a clean machine namely (See my test scenario's);

      --WindowsXP PRO with SP1--
      Installed the needed codecs
      Installed CCE
      Installed TFM (Used 1.3)
      DON'T INSTALL OTHER CODECS!
      ***WORKING***

      --WindowsXP PRO with SP1--
      Installed the needed codecs
      Installed CCE
      Installed SP2
      Installed TFM (Used 1.3)
      DON'T INSTALL OTHER CODECS!
      ***WORKING***

With other codecs/software I mean: Update of Mediaplayer or installing ffdshow/autogk/bsplayer/

Above are my findings but maybe it will work on your machine!

      With regards,
      Vipyammer

POST EDIT email removed for your security an answer will no doubt be found and posted here

PS: Just started with testing of TFM 1.4.0.1
