      About two avi's...

Hey I just downloaded a movie that was in two parts. I added them in the film machine, followed the steps and left it all encoding while I slept last night. I woke up this morning and burned the files in the video_ts folder to disc like usual. After watching the movie to see if it was ok, it gets so far a long and freezes solid for the rest of the movie, while the audio keeps going. I also notcied that the files in the video_ts folder only came to a total of like 3gb? I know a usual movies takes up like 4.1gb so what happened there? Does anybody know a good way to join the files, encode and burn them without any problems, and with no loss in quality?

What avi. joiner programme do you prefer? Is it best to join a maximum number of single 25 mins episodes to burn onto one DVD though? (If you see what I mean)
