Thanx for this great program! I use it for a long time!

Could you answer me some questions?

The chapter creator will become available when?

It's normal to find HDDVD 1080p MKV movies on net...
So TFM is full compatible with this tipe of media?

This will be in the next release, working on that at the moment. No date set yet. A lot has to be done.

Should be no problem at all. You only have to make sure that the MKV only holds 1 videostream and a maximum of 2 audiostreams. So no subs should be in the MKV.

Upmix to 5.1 still doesn`t work with either Aften or SoftEncode...The real shock was that I spent my savings for a powerful quad-core upgrade, and I have discovered that NONE of the encoders supports quad-core CPU-s...All of them but Quenc would push both cores on my old Core 2 Duo E6400 to 100%, and the encoders are multi-core optimized, but not the quad-core...WTF, what can I do, install the said-to-be multi-core charm Windows Vista, or ask encoder authors for support?

Why doesn't upmix work for you?

You'r right about the quadcore support. That is still a lack of the encoders.

Well, when I check the upmix option, it says that some ffdshow registry value doesn`t exist, no matter what codec changes or even OS preinstall I do...

    11. #911
Can you post the TFM.log file.

Which version of ffdshow do you use?

I tried both the newest version of ffdshow, and the bundled one.By the way, could u integrate some encoder that really supports quad core, no matter which one, I will find it?I promise all kind of support and testing for you.

I don't know any encoder that supports quadcore at the moment, do you?

I've a problem with the mkv files 1080p & 720p when I encode them I can't get the correct aspect ratio of 2:40:1 they only encode too 1:85:1 so the picture is missing the black bars on the top & bottom of the picture leaving it squashed up any idea what I might be doing wrong.

      Many Thanks.

If you would be so kind to suggest what encoders you can implement, I would test them all.The TMPGenc and the MAINCONCEPT ones also suck, neither does the WinAvi one support quad core...neither does CUCUSOFT, DVD FLICK and other pieces of junk...What other encoders would u suggest me to test?I will have special threads for the purpose.I tried to convert a HD MkV with Procoder 3, as it simply blows CCE and HCE out of its way, in terms of quality, but it would refuse to keep the DTS source...The programs show 768 or 1536 kbits option, but it wouldn`t let me choose anything over 448 kbits, even with the old version I could select 640kbits, for maximum quality...Here is my .log file:
