Anyway, I was able to avoid the HASP problem already by downloading a new copy of Craft Encoder Sp but encountered a new problem again, I don't know if this will affect the encoding/transcoding of video.. after 30 mins of waiting, i encountered this after the encoding was done..

I used the 1.5 version of The Filmmachine at Windows XP without problems.
Since I use Windows Vista Home Premium I am unable to convert with the Filmmachine latest beta version.
I have installed all software as I used before (CCE 2.67.0.23 etc..) but the program is closing after pressing the make DVD button (getting failure message).
How do I resolve this issue?

After combining the .avi and .srt files - What would be the finish product? a .VOB or still a .avi (hardsubbed)?
Hello!I used The FilmMachine to create a DVD and everything went alright, but the sound is not very good...is there anything I can do to improve the sound of my DVD?There is also another thing I wanna know: In this beta version, tnere is a "Upmix stereo to 5.1 with profile" option. What does it do?It raises the quality of the DVD sound or anything like that?Well, that's all I want to know for now...thanks in advance!^^

I just wanted to say a big Thanks to The Mask for this wonderful app and continued support!!!
The Mask, don't worry about the audio problem, because I alredy solved it: I only dismarked the "boost audio" option and the audio came out ok. But there is a little bug I want to tell you about. I have Windows Vista Home Basic on my computer. After converting a movie with The FilmMachine, if I try to convert another one I receive a message of "access denyed" when I try to load a movie on it. Then, if I want to convert another movie, I have to uninstall The FilmMachine and install it again. Of course, it is not a big problem as this program is quite fast to install/uninstall, but I guess it is good for you to know about this bug, so maybe you could fix it on a next version...^^

I was using TFM V.1.5.4 w/CCE V. 2.67 and having no problems. Decided to try the beta version 1.6.0.2 w/CCE SP2 V. 1.00.00.15 and liked the results (noticed the the VOB files were quite a bit smaller although quality still was good). Did several conversions before getting a strange result....the resulting VOB file was very small...142MB which had the following:Evaluate:System exception Access Violation (D;\Movie 17\TFM AVISYNTH SCRIPT 1 File .avs,line2).
I updated TFM to V. 1.6.0.2 and then got the following error in the one VOB file:
AVISOURCE:the video decompressor couldn't produce YUY2 or RGB output (D: Movie 20\TFM AVISYNTH SCRIPT 1 File avs, line2). This happened with two different .avi files.

Aswering your question, it happens after TFM is closed down and I start it up again. Ah, and today something funny happened: I downloaded a movie the other day, but only had time to watch it today. In the day I downloaded it, I tested the archieve and the image was normal. But today, when I went to watch the movie,it's image was upside down! Then I remembered that I didn't have The FilmMachine installed when I downloaded this movie, and decided to uninstall it to see what would happen. And after I had unsinstalled it, I tryed to watch the movie again and the image was normal! Then I re-installed the film machine, and the image of the movie turned upside down again...I have alredy watched other movies with The FilmMachine installed in my computer, and everything went ok (the extension is the same of the other movies I watched, .avi).I even tryed to reboot my computer to see if it was some kind of bug, but the same thing happened. This is the first time that this happens...do you have any ideia why? Well, that is it...sorry for botering you (again ^^' )
