Then I think it is a problem of Spumux which is the program that inserts the subtitles in the videostream. Does this happen with all the fonts?

Very strange, the only thing is that I can't test it on my PC because I live in Europe.

      Hi Mask-

Any plans to update TFM to the latest version of HC Encoder?

      Cheers,

      cbc

Yes, it will be in the next version. But don't know when it will be released. You also implement it yourself. Just replace the version in the TFM subdir and keep the same name.

Exclamation bug??? he filmmachine 1.6.0.2 beta

why is "the filmmachine.exe" using a FULL core when quenc is busy encoding?

perhaps you're in an infinite while/for loop without a sleep while encoding ?

I don't know. This is different on every OS. On my PC with Vista 32 bits and XP Pro 32 bits the CPU usage is minimal.

Which instructions does your computer support: MMX, SSE, SSE1, SSE2, SSE3!

There are different copilations of Aften.exe for the different instruction sets.

My computer for example can't handel SSE3, so if I use this version of Aften then it hangs.

In the installation package of TFM I implemented Aften.exe with the following instructions: MMX, SSE, SSE1 and SSE2.

thailand, I already told you to use MMX unless you know what your CPU supports. There is no great speed difference between MMX and SSE3, but MMX will run on a CPU as old as the 1st Pentium's and SSE3 will only run on newer CPU's.
Find out what you have with this program:
      CPU-Z

      Gurus,

I downloaded a .avi that has subtitles in another file called an .srt

Can someone please give me a simple way to just burn the avi to the disc and watch it on a standard home dvd player with subtitles?

I simply need a simple solution to watch this movie on a ordinary DVD Player.

I downloaded the TFM already ( the one posted in page 1 of this thread), any steps or procedures how to use this? Im really new to this thing. Thanks.

Where can I get the "HASP"? I encountered "Hasp not found" after transcoding a .avi file. I followed every step in this link: http://members.home.nl/thefilmmachine/ except for adding the Canopus Procoder and Sonic Foundry since it's not necessary adding it ( and besides, I don't have them too )
