This has nothing to do with which version of TFM. This is definately a DirectX or Avisynth Problem.Originally Posted by sfed

@TheMask
The new CCE SP2 v1.00.00.01 is available is it possible to make the TFM work with it? It's supose to be much faster then the old one, and more to it, the problem with trial is eliminated.
Also please remember about the subtitle issue I wrote about.
I do hope that you did not gave up the project.
Best Regards
Germilt
I won't forget and I didn't gave up. Jus have little time and I am rewriting the whole encoding procedure to cope with the audio sync problems. I find more and more avi's with ac3 delayed audio.Originally Posted by Germilt
I also will look at the new CCE. What do you mean with "the problem with trial is eliminated"?

Good to hear you still work with the TFM.
Well there are some avis with delayed audio, but it can be solved since there is appropriate option in the TFM. As a curiosity I add that I found an avi which seamed ok when checking with AviMux Gui ... (don't remember the name) after converting audio was deleyed I guess about 60 - 80 ms.
With the trial I mean that there is already available hacked dll that eliminates logo.
Also if you could look into the subs section, I have recuring problem with merging second set of subtitles.

Forgive me if i put this in the wrong thread/section. First of all thanks for this great tool. I have been using this for years now and i think it's far superior than any other one. i have one comment or suggestion. I noticed BeHappy implemented a 5.1 surround upmix option to convert 2 channel to 6 channel surround. They have included a few different type of upmix options for action, drama, and soforth. They have implemented it using ffmpeg and aften. That's about all I know. I just thought it would be awesome if you encorporated that as an option to TFM to allow a 5.1 upmix option for 2 channel audio. I have been demuxing my XviD/Divx videos using virtualdub. Then I am using BeHappy 0.1.9 build 5241 to convert any 2 channel audio to 6 channel utilizing ffmpeg AC3. Mux it back together using virtualdub and finally send it through TFM.
I think it would be a great addon for TFM. Thanks![]()
I looked at it and it looks promising. I will test it further on my Home Cinema Set. Which settings do you usually use (Action, Comedy or the other ones)?

I stick to the comedy and action ones. I haven't messed with the other ones. I beleive they were custom made by users who gave the creator of be-happy gui aid in creating the 5.1 upmix option. I found the package on doom9's forum so I am sure the creators can be found there. I would think they would not be an option if they were't any good. Just not sure the differences. Hope this helps![]()
Ok, thanks. Will take a further look at it.

haven't been creating dvds for long time.. Since most people I know have mpeg4 stand alone cheap-ass-but-working-fine player.
Is it now possible to create a DVD with 8 episodes and a menu where the 8 eps are selectable? So 8 buttons, one for each ep?
I remember that was the only thing I missed..
Not yet fully with TFM. But you can create 8 video and 8 audio files in one conversion and create the menu and dvd vob files in for example DVDLab Pro. I am still working on the menu.

First of all thank you for the best avi to dvd conversion tool. And I hope that you might consider TFM supporting selectable arabic subtitles in the future please.
Thank you again.
Isn't it supported yet then? Which Character Set should I implement then?

I really appreciate your concern to my request.
The Arabic Alphabet (ISO) charater set is iso-8859-6.
Although the set is included in TFM and I have used it, yet the subtitles are not shown correctly instead I got strange characters.
I have to mention that When I use permanent subtitles where I can freely select any font and can specify arabic language supported by that font characters or subtitles are shown correctly, eventhough no character set beeing selected here.
Thank you.
