I think so, can you play the movie with another player?

yes, i can play with media player. but i installed koep's XviD-1.1.0-30122005 codec and its working fine now, no probs. only thing is audio is a bit crackling and i checked source but source is ok. probably the boost option needs to be unchecked?..do i need any other audio or video codecs. i usually convert xvid/divx avi's to dvd and want to have just the basic necessary ones installed, don't like too many as they sometimes cause problems.

also another thing, the preview seems to show only same aspect ratio (fullscreen with borders left and right) even when i switch 'arrange method'. apart from that i think this latest version is much more stable for me. i used to use 1.4 before and when i switched to 1.5 beta's it was crashing sometimes but latest release is excellent.

also cce 2.5 or 2.67? which is better in quality and speed or is it the same in your opinion.

      thanks.

      hey

I have a problem with a film personally I think that it lies to VBR because the film machine can only convert at converting cbr but I have tried things also several ordinary converting without fowling ntsc to pal.

if I want vbr convert to cbr with virualdub then I have the problem that the sound entirely out of sync run

What I also have have that is that there under each other all wrong things reports come that the sound track is not well in my log file

but is well here my log file

Maybe you can try to open up your avi in AviMux-Gui and then click on "generate data source from file" then click on "Start" and save the avi under a different name. With that generated source you can try again.

      lolz i understand it :P

    14. #704
I tested both samples and it worked fine for me. The sample1.avi is already a bit out of sync and that stays in the output. If the source is not OK then the result won't also.

The other sample had no speaking in it so I could not really check the out of sync of it. Looks ok for me.
