Here you are. Just opened the .idx file with SubResync and saved it as *.srt.

I don't think I can implement it but I can see how you can convert them to text subs.

Thank you so much.........
HOW DID YOU DO THAT ?????????????Originally Posted by The_Mask

After a while it does it on its own.
It takes 5 minutes max to do that. Save each character matrix seperately for each movie, and after a while you dont have to do anything anymore, just open the .idx , let the program autosearch for a good matrix and it runs smoothly.
You are welcome.

I think you don't have the right version of SubResync then.
It must do that because the binary subs are images. It must read the images through OCR recognition. It saves the letters you already did and so after a while it knows almost every letter in the sub.

I installed vobsub 2.23.
I understand why i must input het characters...
I did it for about 30 minutes.
I cannot save a sub before this process has ended.
Sorry for saying, but I think you have a strange computer. First you have problems with ffdshow and others not. Then you have problems with SubResync.

Ok ....thats possible...
Its better that i use srt subtitles or choose another program to convert my DVD files.
You have a great program but when it not working for me i have to move on.
Its not possible to save or edit any character matrix files with subresync. Characters are only stored in its buffer.
Only way to add any kind of automatic character recognition is via wocar 2.5.
Unfortunately for you wocar only supports french and english. And subresync only works with version 2.5 which is kinda outdated.
However...Theres a custom character matrix file for subrip on its home page.
You will still have to enter characters every now and then though.
Good thing is you can save it(or save as another matrix file) for later use, you can also edit it.
As you add characters the process will speed up.

I have problem with subtitles. I convert txt files to srt with subtitles workshop and later I add txt to my movies but it appears too fast in the movie. It is not synchronized. Is it something wrong with fm or subtitle workshop because earlier I was ussing older FM and the same version of subtitles workshop and everything was ok. Movie and sound is ok. Thank you.
You cant compare if you dont use the same movie and subtitle file/s.
In subtitle workshop. Load your subtitle file and your movie(movie menu|open)
Use Ctrl/Alt to mark all the entries, then use Ctrl/shift/n(-100ms) or Ctrl/shift/h(+100ms) to adjust the timing according to the movies sound.
Save and reload the subtitle to see the changes.
You can also change frame rate, check the file for different errors, adjust duration etc. See the help file for more details.
