I've been using the previous release of TFM for a while combined with CCE SP ver 2.67 for a while now.

Upon installing the beta and running it I ran into this error

When encoding is to begin with CCE it errors with: this GDI does not exist

This problem wasn't until the beta so I thought I'd bring it up.

Edit: Nevermind, I found the problem.

CCE 2.70 is not yet supported, I am working on that.

      @Phoenix2443: What was the problem?

I've had the problems withe the new 1.5.0.1 beta (with CCE 2.67) - first time I was encodind .avi > svcd (2 cd) TFM created only one image with poor quality. the second time I ran the program (the same settings, pc restarted) TFM created 3 (!!!) images in spite of the fact I had chosen only 2 cd...

      back to 1.3

      Hi,
I've just installed 1.5 beta but when I try to open any AVI file the program says "Interface not supported". Version 1.4 works fine.
I use XP SP2 with directx 9.0c installed.
      Any ideas what's wrong?

      Subtitles for Slovak language code

      Hi The Mask,

I must say you done a excellent work with your DVD tool !

I tried it , it works very well and quality is on good level.

But I have a problem with adding a subtitles in Slovak language in switchable DVD mode. Slovak (Central Europe) special characters are not correct. If I use permanent subtitles I can choose proper font without mistakes. But in switchable mode is possiblity to choose only fonts which are not correct for Slovak language. Could you help me , please ?

@Ravo: Can you post a printscreen of the error with the TFM window on the background. What sort of AVI did you use?

@Dusan16: Did you change the Character Set to the one that belongs to the Slovak language?

To The Mask - Subtitles problem

Yes, I tried characters set ISO 8859-2 (for Central and East Europe) but there was still some bad characters.
Do you know which character set from your character setting is the most proper for Central Europe ? Strange is that in permanent mode I can choose appropriate character ...

      Thanks for your advice

      Hi everybody,

Sorry if the question is silly for you but being a newbie in video encoding...
I have tried using Film Machine ver. 1.4 and also new 1.5 beta with CCE SP 2.70 trial but without any success. Always the prog ended up before video converting saying the ecl file is not compatible with the CCE.
Any hints? Or will TFM support also CCE 2.70 Trial if not yet.
      Thx

I am working on the CCE 2.70 support, it is in testing fase. It will be in the next beta release.
