TFM only supports textbased sub files, not binary. Sorry, you have to convert them to text.

      Audio delay

In some cases there is an issue of delayed audio, it's ok if the GSpot shows the delay (avis with mp3 audio) unfortunately GSpot doesn't show that with AC3 audio. So if you do not know what the delay is you can only guess but the result won't be satisfying.
There is a solution for that, you have to delete certain number of frames from the beginning of your wrong avi. how many frames you have to cut depends on the delay, so you have to test it (usually cutting off black screen at the beginning is enough). Next I would suggest to make a sample dvd of a sample avi (beginning to first dialogs) to see if audio and video is synchronized.
Avi modifications can be done eg. with VirtulalDubMod (ver 1.5.10 or later).
If there are 2 or more parts of a movie you have to trim only the first one.

@The Mask, if you like I could do some testing of new betas.

      Regards

To check the Audio delay of AC3 audio you have to use AVIMux_GUI. It will show you the AC3 delay.

Try Subtitle Workshop form URUSoft (http://www.urusoft.net/products.php?cat=sw&lang=1).
I think it's the best subtitle program available... and it's free!

If subrip wont do it, subtitle workshop wont either.
You can try gabests subresync(load it, choose language, then save as srt) its a part of the vobsub package. If that doesnt work your pretty much out of luck, unless you can find another sub file.

Thats another subtitle file not another .sub file

In Subrip you must open the *.idx file instead of the *.sub file.
