Dowload the latest beta version of The FilmMachine

Hello,

I downloaded Filmmachine beta and installed it. THen i loaded it and after the initial logo it gives an error message;

Cannot open file "C:\Program Files\The FilmMachine beta\Backgrounds\Alienplanet.jpg". The system cannot find the path specified.

The prog still loads but apparently its missing a skin file ?

You first have to install version 1.3 and then replace the executable with the one from the beta version.

I just downloaded the newest beta version of the filmmachine .
I workt white several programs like sony vegas 5 dvdlabpro adobe but for
the home maker is this a good product to make youre own dvd of downloaded movie's . For the futere version's a would perphose the function to encode audio to ac3 format for dolby stereo .
Now i make first a dvd rw whit the filmmachine and next a demux it whit ifoedit and vobedit or other software i likew to work whit .
than i take the audio file and convert it whit sony vegas and goldwave to a ac3 6ch format and than i remux it whit dvdlabpro whit my own menu's and whatever i like to have.
burn it to a dvdr and enjoy my product. looks like a profesionel made dvd.
the whole process takes about 6 hours whit my
pc 2600 Mhz 1048 mb ram ddr and dvd burner singel layer cd burner 300gig hdd space .
Don't forget to check your downloaded movie on error's before you begin
it save's you a lot of trouble as for example the indix from you divx is not correct everthing looks fine but while burning you get a error from your software it just hangs and stops burning .

i would like to make a suggestion. in the next version make film machine not to be able to add in the avi list, avi with vbr audio stream because the virtualdup version that it use doesn't support it.

This is not the fault of VirtualDub but from de maker of the AVI.

yes but it is still a problem that must be sholved and i can't understand how?

Try to decompress Avi with mp3 to Avi with PCM audio with VirtualDub before using The FilmMachine.

also it would be nice if the create dvd menu was a checkbox like the burn dvd. i will post it soon

also post in the select codec menu the estimated time that 1 avi 700mb file has to be pass in order to become mpg. (for every cpu,ram,hd speed,running aplications and ram they use,1or2pass,high qality etc..)
