Is it possible to add a checkbox that skips the question, wich comes when you create a DVD that is too small ?
I usually create a sample to see how it looks like, and those DVD's are only around 150-200mb, and then it pops the question. I would like to see an option to skip it so it continues anyway.
I will look at it.

Hello, first i gotta say,i LOVE this program,im using it all the time.
I have a little problem here,i used to work with The FilmMachine on my 32bit XP with no problem, now that i have a new computer with XP 64bit i noticed something that im not sure that it was on the 32bit version:
First, when i convert an AVI file and TFM uses besweet for audio its going slow, uses 100% of my CPU power (3Ghz),i remember on the 32bit XP it used to run fast.
Second, when i have TFM running,CCE takes about 60-65% of my CPU power and TFM itself takes another 30-35%....why is that? TFM doesnt do anything while CCE works on its encoding doesnt it?
Maybe those problems are related to the fact of compability issues, altho they are running as 32bit.
I hope i made sense :P

Hi,
I don't know why that is. Have to test it under Windows XP 64, was planning to install it anyway. Don't know when though.
TFM only handles application messages and waits for CCE to end. So it must use some resources. Will look in XP 32 bit how it is there and let you know.

Sweet thank you,i think taking 35% of my CPU power is a bit too much for just handeling application messages and to wait for CCE to end,but ill wait for your answer.Originally Posted by The_Mask
Another thing:
When TFM finishes the job and just idle there,it takes 258MB of my memory usage :x

Hello from Poland.
I'm using now latest beta version of TFM and have strange problem on my second computer (PIV, 1.5 GHz, 256 RAM, WinXP Pro SP1, DX 9.0c, CCE 2.67). When encoding is finished and it goes to muxing the program hangs with completly no information put into logfile. It stops after creating 4,05 GB of muxed mpg file. It happened couple of times and I don't know why. Only once I got an error message "Out of memory". Does this program really need so much system memory?
BTW - the program is... fantastic...
Wishlist?
Yes - an option to save whole project for second use.
Yes - maybe a pause option - when It works it's hard to... read e-mails due to high CPU usage (or maybe an option to lower its priority).
Greetings I hope you can help me.
Here's TFM_log:

That could be the problem. Try to free up for about 20 gb.

I tested it on my PC (XP 32) and first for the audio you are right for the high CPU values. I am using threads for it but I don't know what the BeSweet.dll is using.Originally Posted by blah666
Second, when CCE is running TFM on my PC is only using up 2% CPU, so this is normal. I will try to test it on XP 64 but I don't know when I will install XP 64.
By the way my memory usages is 12.000 kb in the beginning ant this wil get to approx 32.000 kb at the end. This is also normal because TFM releases it variables and function when it closes.

Thanks for the quick tests The_Mask,yeah i was pretty sure it was something to do with the 64bit version of XP.Originally Posted by The_Mask
I never had any CPU high usage problem on my 32bit version of XP,so thats got to be it,also the memory usage is far too high in x64 when TFM waits for CCE to finish and when its done and idle on my screen it still uses more then 200MB of memory.
I hope you will get a chance to check it out on x64 as soon as you can,and maybe even be the first convertion program that will BE a pure 64bit![]()
