If you use Windows 98 then you're certainly using a FAT32 formatted drive and that doen't support files longer than 4GB.

im aat from holland i have the following problem
i have the filmmachine 1.3 on mine pc also win. 98 se and cce sp 2.67.00
the problem is during the encoding of an avi ti dvd i get after several hours a error:
cc encode failed could not write to the file ( path) tfm_enc_video.mpv
windows error code 0*55
i cant solve this problem myself can sombody help me please.

Sorry, that didn't help much.
What I meant to say is that, in order to output DVDs with TFM you'll need Windows 2000 or XP and a NTFS drive.
With Windows 98 you can only produce (S)VCD because they're smaller.
