      Unhappy Weird problem with TFM

Last night I tried installing TFM 1.3 version. All went good but app won't run. After I click TFM icon on desktop it shows splash screen and then bah nothing happens. I checked running processes and it appears that TFM is open but no window. 1.0,1.1,1.2 versions works good.

TRY right clicking the shortcut icon and pick compatibility mode from the properties tab and try running in win 98 or win 2000 mode see if that cures the problem it did for a few people here

      you may get lucky

note also SP2 may be a problem here too as it seems to cause more problems than it cures at the minute

Will check it out with that version of Nero.

It also could be the SP2. Try loading in Win2000 or Win98 mode and see what happens.

You can try the version with updated components which I used for het P4 with Hyperthreading problem. Get it here. Just overwrite the excisting executable with this one.

I uninstalled SP 2 but still same problem. No idea what's wrong.

Edit1:Now only version 1.0 works. It's getting better

Edit2: Little update on situation. App finally starts after like 1 min waiting for it. Still no idea what's causing that problem. Only version 1.0 starts immediately after splash screen. Now I'm on SP1 but I guess it would work on SP2 too. I never waited for it for more than 15 secs.

Edit3: Ok I think I found the reason. Small app called CpuIdle
