How can i not create DVD Menu?

Hello to all. I Think this program is the best i every see. Before using it , i waste lots of time doing de AVI -> DVD process...now..its everthing automatic!! Excelente job !!

I have a question...i dont want to create a DVD MENU in The FilmMachine...i just want the movie starts automatic without chosing "Play the Movie" . How can i do that ? :P

      Best Regards to all !!

      Come on guys

There are plenty of ways to do that, but... really. TFM is an outstanding FREEWARE tool. The least you can do is giving the author some credit by letting everyone see the DVD menu.

I may be wrong, but I think that's not a question you should ask in this forum

      Cheers

SEEMS a reasonable question to me !?

and one that can be and should be addressed as any other question here with an appropriate answer ...yes CarlosJorge you have a VALID point but also Brave and kawasabi still seek an answer

my answer would be altho NOT freeware but to use a really good software such as DVD LAB or DVD MAESTRO by importing the VOB files into one or other of the programs and creating your own custom menus, buttons, scene selections etc

we have a guide here on DVD LAB by REBOOTJIM thats pretty easy to follow

you must choose to make file output in TFM as VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders and files then work from those with LAB or MAESTRO

there are many other programs out there and im sure others will drop into the thread and recommend some others too

Simples solution is to just manually author the *.mpv and *.ac3 files with TMPGEnc DVD Author, DVDLab, etc As Viper said, these are not free but are quite cheap and both have fully funtional time limited demos available as well.

To be quite honest, TFM is a fantastic piece of software and is working well, but the one reason I dont use it is because of the menus it creates. Like Brave, I want my movie to start playing straight away and see no reason to have to press a button to get it to start.

Forgot to mention, you can also use Shrink in re-author mode. It will give main movie only (thats what your after) with no menu etc. There will be no compressing applied as its already a DVD5 and takes about 10min generally. Shrink is free as well.

Chapters are set in The FilmMachine and Shrink will just copy them across.
