using 20 GB of space when creating DVD

The filmmachine is beginning to use 20 GB of HD space when I create a DVD. It is only recently that I have encountered this problem. Even though I do not save the file that the encoder(cinema craft encoder) makes and I get the correct number of files for the DVD, it still uses this amount of diskspace, so each time i uninstall the program and reinstall afterwards...anyone knows why this happens??

the extra space will be used by the TEMP files which you can delete once you have made the dvd files or dvd

Ok, but is there a setting where I do not get these files, because I did not get them when I first started using FM.. and since I only have 21 GB free HD space left it's all starting to get a bit dodgy

have you emptied the recycle bin !?

do you have nortan protected recycle bin that comes with some nortan products !? this may need to be emptied

check and clean out any other temp folders you may have .

in TFM under options/other tick the box marked "delete temp files to save disk space"
