      Quality compared to dvd2svcd??

I can see that quite a few people are ysing this proggy,so im a bit interested to see how is quiality compared to dvd2svcd..
I have converted tons of movies using CM tutorial for avi@svcd with dvd2svcd using cce.Usually i go with cce-4-5pass vbr..
I tried d2s roba and while is really fast, quality is not up to vbr-4-5 passes, and usually conversion lasts about 4-6 hours(with creation of bin&cue)..
I can see that your proggy is a bit simpler(from screenshots)which is nice couse dvd2svcd got tons of features which i dont even know what are they for??
Anyway, couse i read somewhere that filmmashine usually need around 8-10 for conversion, will it give a beeter quality too??
Couse for me time is not important at all, couse i encode when i sleeep
So,if somebody(cm probably),tried both proggys, can you tell the differencies couse probably people would be interested to find a advantages of one over another

I have not tried The FilmMachine with a 4 or 5 pass CCE encode but since the avsynth scrips basically read the same for both programs and if you use CCE with both, then I see no reason why there should be any differenc at all. I would expect them to be identical for picture quality.

TFM has the advantage of converting an AVI's audio to AC3 automatically (for DVD output) while DVD2SVCD does not.
      Cheers,
