      TFM with HiSpeed CPU Problem

I run v 1.0 no P4 3.0 HT (Not Presscott) and workin well. But when buy new one 3.0E (Presscott) i cannot run. Mask.... I think its Presscott problem not 3.0 and higher... Now i have 3.2E (Presscott) and thesame problem. Maybe SSE3 ? Older P4 CPU haven't this instructions ?

With Presscott Line work only v0.9.9.0 .

Hi Kris i`v got the same CPU and have a same problem like you !
      Program is not runing.
Debug version form forum not working to.

On other computer wher I`v got Celeron D (the prescot core) TFM 1.2 runing very well, but built encoder is not working. I dont have alerady CCE, but I working on that .

Maybe the Mask have some optimization for CPU in the compiler options ?

      Best regards

But there is still a problem, because version 0.9.9 works.

I already made some compiler changes, but nothing works. What I will try to build is a version without all the linked dll-files. This version can't convert anything, but I only want to see if it starts (just to rule out external failures). I will let you guys know when this build is ready, don't know if it is a lot of work.

Ok, unlinked the dll's in a debug version. You can get it here and just pray that it will start.

With this version you can't convert anything though.

I don't know what is wrong. I doubt it has to do with my program because I don't get to the first line of code of the program. So something is happening before that. Maybe it is the compiler or maybe it is the processor.

hm ! was checked to and still dont running.

Hi The Mask can you tell what compiler do you have ?
I think so compiler is needed to run debug version of of app.

Write us what compiler do you have and I will instal trial copy.

Do you use it some code optimisation for any processor type ?
Maybe this is a problem ?

@Younec i don't have any compiler installed and the DEBUG version works on my xp system

i don't think you need a compiler installed to run this version

I use Delphi 7 to compile my program and I use the same compiler settings as in version 0.9.9 which I heard runs fine on those high-speed machines.

However I still don't understand why this debug version not working.

ps. Is there any posibility to download old version of TFM ?

      Best regards
