      Canopus procoder: no sources found

      Hi!

Thefilmmachine has not worked for me yet.

I have tried it with CCE, which appeared to convert ok. But all I get is a 10 sec. "movie" which displayed: Plane Swapper YUV data only! Avisynth
      script.avs, line 6.

So now I'm trying it with Canopus procoder. And here I think the problem is this line:

      Executing Canopus Procoder.

      No sources found
      Encoding failed

      Any suggestions?

      Thanks!

TFM is not compatable with Procoder ver 2, so what version are you trying to use?
      Cheers,

still the same error with Canopus v 1

      Hi!

I have tried it with Canopus version 1. But it still can't find the source.
I also tried it with Cinema Craft, but all i get from that is a screen that says Cinema Craft Encoder.

      Tips?

I got that error a lot from users of Canopus Procoder. This is why I am integrating Canopus Procoder 2.0 at the moment because it can handle Avisynth scripts. So please be patient.

About CCE not working, please post the log files when uses CCE. Perhaps you have installed Win XP SP2?

I don't see anything strange here. All phase are completed correctly. So what is wrong?

that is just the same thing I get after using CCE 2.5!
The sound is good, but the screen is just like that, black with red lines. And the DVD-files that came out were about 520mb.

      yes exactly! 500 something MB!

You either have an AVI with internal problems (have you checked it with DivFix and DivXRepair) or you have the wrong codec. Both of these will gave that problem.

I've checked it with divfix, and didn't find any errors... I don't know much about these codecs, so how to check that?

    14. #14
      I have FFDshow

Can codecs be the problem if you play the avi ok on the computer?
