tfm won't run anymore

hi all
had to do a fresh install of win xp
after that i installed tfm as always before
but now when i run tfm i get a acces violation error ?
i never switched hardware or anything like that
so i decided to upgrade xp (had sp1 already installed)
so i did all the upgrades
same error
dunno what it is i never had this bedore
i had a copy left of 1.1 installed that 1
and guess what it works
but i realy need 1.2 running cause of the bugfixes
i tried your debug version exe
and a lot of numbers shows up
when i start it up is shows
1 2 3 5 6 7 8 9 4
if i try to continue now it won't start encoding
and if i try to exit it it gives me an error like
ACCES VIOLATION AT 00000000 READ OF ADRESS 00000000
PLEASE HELP ME ON THIS 1
LATEST 1.2 HAVE ALWAYS WORKED FLAWLESS BEFORE THE CLEAN INSTALL

do i mis something
i tried movies i did before but that won't do it either
installed xvid ac3 divx codecs also

i checked the don't burn dvd box
and hoeray its starting encoding
think it was looking for zero (uche) ment nero
since a few days i am burning with another proggie to c if it improves burning quality
(had a lot of probs with reading the burned dvd's (no 1 could read them anymore)
gonna check tonight if it will encode my video to dvd
hope this was the only prob

ok it looked like TFM was running ok
but it only encodes the audio from there nothing happens anymore
pc hang etc.
strange thing is ...
i start up tfm
when i click to exit after i started it up i get an error message
this is not happening with the 1.1 version
(mask u got something from the error codes i posted here can u make something up from that)
i am not able to go back to a point where everything worked
i am on a clean install
made a ghostfile from there
but I NEED TFM !!!! :P
gonna run 1.1 to try know i post back tonight for results

tfm 1.1 runs ok
but i need the bugfixes in 1.2
what can b the problem of this

The only thing I can think of is the internal routines to get information from the NeroApi.dll.

do i have to get nero installed ??
and about the log files
there r no logfiles :S
i will instal it again and c what happens
after that i will instal nero 6.3.3.20
c if that makes a difference


1 more thing
maybe a little bug if i mixed 1.1+1.2
but i did see 1 time filmmachine running on my comp in the upper corner stood 1.3 ??
or did i drink to much that time

could that b the problem MASK
do we have to install a dvd codec ?

Version 1.3 was the debug version, I am still developing.

Yes you must. You need a codec for reading the Avi-file and you need another one for writing it to mpeg format.

I don't know maybe you installed a codec-pack with a mpeg codec.

divx 5.***
xvid 1.***
win dvd (after 1.1 wich was working without it )

ok here we go again
tried to do 2 movies
both r getting my pc lock up
only reset button helps
the proces starts
when its encoding with cce at about 19 % i get a hard lock up

this was with TFM 1.2
wt peep is this
it used to run so beutifull
