      TFM responding very slow

Dont know if anyone else has had this problem but i've installed TFM twice and it keeps doing this. When I hit the exe for the prog it takes almost 5 minutes before it comes up and after that I load my avi files and hit make dvd it takes up to 10 minutes or more before it does anything, and other times it wont respond at all. I'm running WinXP the comp is up to date so it would be a problem with speed or memory.

      Any Ideas?

Did this also happen with version 1.1?

I had this problem and traced it to running CPUIDLE. When I stopped this, it worked straight away. So it might be an app your running in the background. Try disabling all other running progs and try it again.

1.2 is the first version I've used so I'm not sure if it would do it with the 1.1.......but I will try spottydogs suggestion and see if it works.

Ok I figured out that my seti at home prog was messing with TFM, so now it runs immediately.....Thanks spottydog for the tip. But I still get an access violation when I exit the prog but I dont think this has any effect on the movie or coversion.

Never had this error, so I don't know what it is.

Well Like I said it only happens when exiting the prog and doesnt seem to affect anything else so it's probably no big deal. Other than TFM is running great now.........Thanks
