      Hi,

I hoped to nail the hyperthread problem, but it seems it is still there.

Don't know where to look anymore. Help is appreciated.

Is there someone with a hyperthreading processor and a working version of The FilmMachine. Please let me know.

Ok, I compiled a debug version of The FilmMachine to look for the error with P4 3.0 ghz and higher. I hope you guys want to try it for me, you can download it here.

What you must do is download the zip file and extract it in the directory where you installed The FilmMachine, you should replace the old exe file.

If you start the program you should see a dialog with a number and a Ok button.
Keep pressing the Ok button until the error prompts. If the error pops up please tell me the last number you have seen. Then I can try to find out where the error is located.

By the way version 1.2 must be installed.

I really don't know where the error comes from. When I am coming back from holliday I will take a better look at it.

      Hi all,

I happened to see TFM mentioned in the CD Freaks fourum (I think) and wanted to check it out. I have a 2.8ghz P4 w/hyperthreading. I would love to try the program, but, downloaded version 1.3 and it installed fine and then would not run. I didn't try the above patch as it was for 3.0ghz or higher. I'll stop by now and again and see what's up regarding a possible fix. I know this post is a little dated but it's the only one here I've seen regarding the subject (P4 / Hyperthread). Thanks
