Which is Better Purchasing DVD or CD Games?

I've been doing some research and wanted to hear from the rest of the community about this....I know that DVD's are great for watching movies because they use more than one laser to play them, but wanted to know are DVD Games better visually than CD Games?

Is this the wave of the future for PC Games?

I haven't bought any DVD Games yet because I haven't seen them in the US, but I am sure they are out there..

Hi bud...I don't know of any Pc games released on dvd yet,but I could be wrong.The main advantage would be the ability for developers to add more data(no need for multiple discs).

The downside would be compatibility issues.Many people still do not have dvdrom drives in their computers,or need a new computer to play dvds.The minimum requirements for a computer are higher to play dvd's.Hope that helps a bit.
