70" with one player lees, but Brasil is still wining
Dreaming as the days go by,
      Dreaming as the summers die:
      Ever drifting down the stream
      Lingering in the golden gleam
Life, what is it but a dream

lol joripe - brasil was just an ordinary south american team - yeah well they were good for an ordinary side , "nigel martin a *better* goalkeeper" - what are u on - think i need some of that . . .

as for the brazilian sending off - it was too harsh - i think fifa need to sort out some of these referees.

england should had at least scored a 2nd goal - but i think we were outclassed even when brasil had 10 men.

as for seaman - i think he did well - plus he had that nasty fall and still played on - he let in 2 very good goals by the brailians - i dont blame him.

agreed - i didnt expect England to win against Brazil. Before Ronaldinho was sent off - i expected Brazil to beat us 3 - 1. i really believe that if he hadnt been sent off - they would had scored another. dont even know what happened to ronaldo - he was pretty quiet during the match

@joripe - yes i remember - but having said that - i still dont think Nigel Martin is a better goalkeeper than seaman- and i still dont blame seaman for letting in those two goals - cos those goals were good - i just wish it werent the brazilians driving the ball when it crossed the line and into the net.

I am happy that we are still in the game but this german football isn´t the football i like to see....sad to say that it is successful. (with a lot of luck)

Unhappy I hate to say it but....

On the day Brasil were the better team.
Mistakes were 1 each and Brasil scored a very good first goal.
Brasil played the very hot conditions very well. They let the ball do the work and not their legs.
England were very tired by the time the Brasilian got sent off and couldnt make it count.
I dont think the guy intentionally kicked Mills but he did (full set of studs on his shin), although it was never a sending off.
Rivaldo commited a much more dangerous challenge in the first half, a two footed jump tackle, which didnt even earn him a yellow.
All in all no complaints as we've done very well with a very young side.
We didnt lose on penalties (for once!) and we weren't robbed by the Germans and their two goalkeepers. Hell of a save that on the line by the defender and the useless jock referee didnt even see it. Where was a Celtic fan with a missile when you needed one!
