I didn't see the game, don't know how England played, so I'm not going to comment on it . The big problem is the Pantzers team. Never saw a more borring game in my life. Pure luck on a counter attack and they win. I hope the story doesn't repeat. Champs in 90 and 92 playing the worst football. They have "an easy way" to the semi-finals so it could happen. Let's hope we can see at least one great match (I have't seen anyone yet) even if it only happens in the final game.

Yes we (the Panzer team) had an easy...hmmm ...let´s say lucky way through the games..and the next opponent isn´t unbeatable.

Hi Master,

Hope I didn't offend using the term Panzer, but here in Latin America as we talk about German football we use this term (just remember Muller ). I try to be honest, in the last 20 years, Germany deserved to win twice in 82 (defeated by Italy (worst than this team was the one in 94)) and 86 (defeated by Argentina, although many would say no (specially the British people ) it was a great team. On those both ocassions they really deserved to win, they had good players and a winning mentality,(specially in honor of Rummenigge (for me the best player after Beckenbauer)). There is one thing that I love about The German football, it isn't over till he referee says so (what Portugal didn't do against South Corea ).

My bet would also be that one, but I will wait till after the match with Belgium. Not playing well, but this team had some good luck when needed. If Brasil Keeps scoring, there defence is no problem, always score one more than your rival and you win. As some of you will remember, the team from 82 was from defence (except the goalie) to attack excelent, but if the luck is not on your side just forget it.

Spain and Senegal also in the 1/4 finals. If Spain survive Italy and they don't have to play again an extra time, I consider them to be abble to reach the final. At least if Camacho doesn't repeat the same mistake he did today against Ireland. Congratulations to Al Irish people for the attitude of the Irish players. Even loosing they stayed cool and played with Honor to reach the more than deserved 1-1. Be aware of Ireland on their way to Portugal 2004. I'm more than sure they will be there.

I don't know who played better, same problem, work. The only thing I know is that I expect to finaly see the best match of the tournament, when Brazil plays against England. I'm not going to to say I go for Brazil, but for the one that deserves and most important plays the best football. That the best team win.

Mexico Out USA to next round against Germany. Lets see how much luck the USA is left over. Tomorrow Italy - Corea, and if corea keeps the winning mentality I don't believe, that Italy Will survive, but you all know how it is playing against Italy. Japan - Senegal, two teams with almost football alike. I don't bet for anyone of the two. Lets wait and see.

Germany are so friggin lucky - they ought to get to the semi's without any probs the teams they are playing arent even comparable.

As for the Danes - I expected them to play much better than the way they performed against England - it was a disappointing match for the danes - didnt expect them to be such push-overs, but im glad they played **** cos we're through to the Quarters, against the brazilians and friggin germany plays USA
