I'm wondering where are some good sites that will help me build a pc/desktop?

      Magazines

I got into the newer computers by reading magazines. One has some good info to start knowledge with. CPU, Computer Power Users. They have sample building by staff. Darn good comments about CARDS and price and why chosen. Evan cases, price and where ordered from.
Gives you a good idea as prices on your searches for parts. My thinking is MB and CPU are the most important "combo".

Something like new auto brochures is the best. Avoids impulsive buying.

I first started looking => at Tiger. If you notice much is refurbished. I heard MUCH is JUNK and returned by people. I can't knock them as there has to be great stuff but maybe ads misleading. It's tempting but somethings have to be BRAND NAMES as CD drives for any pgm/version to work with POSITIVELY.
