I recieved this today. If you get one ignore it.
      For more info goto w*w.norton.com

the file is called sulfnbk.exe and it is a pg
when it arrives on your computer it lies hidden for around 2 weeks then
damages your hard disc beyond repair though not before sending it to everyone
      in your address book,

even if you have virus scanner on it appears to get through

to check and rid as follows:
      1. go to start and click find
      2. inthe box find files or folders write sulfnbk.exe
      3. make sure you are searching in C drive
      4. clock on find
5 if file is found you will see a menancing black icon. with the name
sulfnbk.exe. this file is programme DO NOT OPEN IT !!!!!!!!!!! if it doesnt
appear go through above again to confirm
6.click in file using the right mouse button and then click on delete with
      left button of mouse.
      7. you will be asked if you want to send this to the waste bin - answer yes.
      8. go to desktop and click on the wastebin to open it. and eliminate the file
either manually or by emptying the whole basket.
      9. if you find the virus send this e.mails to all the people in your address
book to prevent damage to their hard disks and to prevent it coming back to
      you
carry on checking for virus over a number of weeks as it may still find a way
      back.

This is total bollocks do not delete this file!

If you do then goto norton put the file in the search engine and follow the instructions to replace it.
The loss of the file should not mess windows up but should be replaced.

      you have been warned!

(there is even a chinese version!)

      So itīs floating around again.

Got this for about 6 months ago, and i warned my friends about this hoax.
But some of them didnīt finished to read the mail just followed the name and deleted it.

No probs like you wrote but the problem you can get is that you canīt read and write long filenames.
You will become in the old dos model 8.3 that means for the novice one - abcdefgh.ijk

      Copykat

      hoax

yeah it got me last time
for those interested you can get out your windows disk and go thru the cab files till you find it then replace it

the only thing is though the file updated its time stamp on several of my families computers--i told all to delete...got the orig file of the win disk and sent it

it made me nervous because the time stamp was for the exact day that the 'virus' was to launch--i played it safe deleted then replaced with the original

everybody said 'hoax' but when a files date stamp has changed and it is not suppose to i kill it
