      Hypothetical question about hacking.

If somebody with a T-1 connection were to get a 56k user's IP while the 56k user was online and decided to help themselves to a proggie, would the T-1 user have the 56k restriction?

I'm thinking yes, but not sure.

That thought came to me while downloading a trial-for-life program from the main site. It's kinda expected when one sees their HDD files displayed in front of them.

      Yes

Yes, they would be limited by the 56K download, and more importantly, also be limited by the modem upload speed, which on 56Kbps modems (v.92 excluded) is 33Kbps. This means a max theoretical download rate of about 4 Kilobytes per second.
Dont forget when you are downloading something from someone, they are actually uploading it to you......

Thanks! I kinda figured that, but just wasn't 100% positive.
