Webcam Problem

I've noticed my webcam when receiving data goes a really bright pinky red colour.

Any ideas why, is there some way I can keep it bright or change the way it always receives its data?

Its a Kodak DVC 325 (on USB)

Using XP SP1 but it did it with all OS's.
