      recovering lost data ???

      is there any way of recoving data after a format or after restoring an image...please help asap as i'm desperate

      What have you done ?
      Formatted your partition and restored an image to it after that ?

      If you search forum for "restore" you will find a lot of strong tools that can dig into this problem, but I doubt it will be possible to restore after you has written image to disk.

      If it is not so, let us know.

      Cheers guys once again you lot have come to my rescue i think i've sorted it out now using an app called getdataback from runtimes it seems to have workied for me
