      xp tips

I know I'll probally catch hell for this one but, a couple days back I read a thread on xp tips & tricks, the thread included aspi layer, turn off sys recovery, xp won't shut down, turn off hibernation, ect

I can't seem to find that thread anymore, anyone know where it went?

I tried to get rid of shortcut arrow, and it did'nt work,(maybe it is allready solved in that thread)

I found the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT Isshortcut file and deleted it but still got the little buggers hanging there?

I'm with shadow on that one, if anything bugs me with xp i refer to TweakXP.

The TweakXP program will get rid of things like the shortcut arrows etc.

If you want TweakXP search the forum or request it.
You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen, it said 'Parking Fine.'
      So that was nice.

thanks scaz69. I installed tweaki and it did the trick.

@shadow_ir I first tried your url, but it did'nt work, in fact the reg. was altered without anything happening, now my question is how do I get all them entries out. without damage to the reg?(cause I don't know where they are)

OR will tweaki change the entries for me when I used its tool to do it?
