I wouldn't recommend trying it tricky1. The Registry's for WinME and XP are far too different. All you have to do is overwrite one wrong registry line and you system is toast.

Better to get your WinXP the ways you like it and back up the registry then with Regedit or a Registry editor. Even better...Ghost your install drive. Ghosting your drive is a better option as it will return everything back to normal. Do a Forum search for Ghost and the world will be your oyster!

      Backing Up E-Mail/Address Book/Favorites

      tricky1,

If you are concerned about loosing your Address Book and Favorites suggest that you acquire a copy of e-Backup. e-Backup is a program that’s easily backs up your E-Mail, Address Book and Favorites. For information visit their Web Site at h**p://www.inachis.com

If you look around you can obtain a cracked copy of e-Backup

      Regards,
      Coaster

tricky1...she's using Outlook Express? If so I can post some instructions.

php did post a good point though. This is a good proggie, but for it to be effective you need to be connected via a LAN. Here are some good instructions for how to do it.

Yea...I thought I read you correctly (dual boot)...so the solution php posted wont help you. It was nice of him to try though.

Here are instructions on how to backup/restore the Address Book and Mail for Outlook. It's an MS Word Doc. If you need another format, just let me know.
