Hiya PPL's.... i have got hold of a genuine WinXp+SP1 CD.... is there any way that i could possibly extract the SP1 CAB files from this disk and then install them into my system... i only have a 56k dial up modem and this would take me ages to download the SP1 from the web..... i have done a SP1 search on the CD with no success.... be grateful if any of u knowledgable folks out there could render any info as to how/if this can be done...

You can get SP1 by just simply getting it from M$ site. Use the admin-version
SP1 from your local newsagent
You can also get the full SP1 free when you buy the latest winxp official magazine from any newsagent, saves a long download
