Does gpedit.msc only work in XP Pro?

I've read/heard about the changes that can be made when you access the gpedit.msc command. I'm unable to do that on XP Home. I get the message:

"Windows cannot find 'gpedit.msc' . Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search. "

Does this work in XP Home?

Yes - it is only available in Windows XP Pro.

One of a number of things cut out from the Home Edition, as an encouragement to spend more on the Pro Edition ! ! !

Absolutely - i was putting the reasoning from Gatesies POV.
And looking from MiS finances it has paid off as more fools have bought the Pro Version that even they were expected - a case of why get half an operating system to start with i suppose ?
