I have a copy of Windows XP Home Edition (Dell OEM Version) which came with my laptop. I copy files from cd, slipstream sp1 and then burn to a cd it works fine. But when I try to install Windows XP it keeps saying vga.sys is corrupted every time I try to install. Please Help.
Note: I have burned the cd three times and original cd is not a bad installation.

It might have to do w/ the fact it is a "dell version" and not a proper oem m$ copy. when u are re-burning use the boot binaries of this same cd.
He's a small utility to extract the boot binaries from the cd.
thanx for your help.
