      Restarting in MSDOS Mode

I'm using Win98se and trying to restart the computer in MSDOS mode. But I'm just getting a black screen and unable to type anything.

Is this a monitor problem? I've just recently upgraded all drivers and detonators relating to the gfx card and mobo.

Booting from a msdos floppy should require no particular graphic driver.

Cheers newby, I'll try that. I thought I'd read something a couple of years ago about my monitor needing a particular driver to display MSDOS.

Thought maybe my new drivers had screwed this up. Better dig out my manual!
