How I can disable the MS Agent

How I can disable the MS Agent in Windows XP ?

I've tryed delete the msagent folder, but I can't delete this folder.

I deleted and a few seconds later the folder come back again.

I've also looked at register, but I've find a lot of msagent entries.
I don't know what I can remove from register.

      Please help me.

      TIA

you have to purge the cache:

      sfc /PURGECACHE
then delete the folder. ensure that the winxp cd is not inserted. when asked for winxp cd, click cancel. also better delete the ServicePackFiles folder in windows folder, if you have installed service pack 1 (ServicePackFiles is used for SFC-system file checker for the Service Pack)
Please don't send me PMs, I only check them once in a month. If you have to say something, say it here
