I been away for awhile and haven't really read much here....so I keep reading about all this sp1 spyware but no real details as to what it is or does.....does anyone know exactly what is in it that is so bad???? I know already that it checks the serial and all but what else?

still haven't seen anyone answer what it is that xp collects....I know the alexa keys spy your surfing habits.....and the wpa makes ya activate unless cracked and wu v.5 checks ya key......I dunno call me paranoid I like to know wtf is happening lol...so for the mean time I switched back to mandrake 9.0 untill I figure all this out

I think the "feature" if you will that sends info back to microsoft is only in the Home editions of the Windows XP series.

Anyone wish to add to this ... thats the main reason why I went pro!

Sorry *ChRiS not sure where you heard that, but the Home and Pro (Corporate included) leak info to M$ equally.
