Startup Configuration

Can someone tell me where the above is now please? I have just done a clean install of XP pro from ME, and was used to going through sys tools, sys info and then tools and startup, but cannot find it now in XP!! I have a symbol next to clock in sys tray called "Safely remove Hardware" which i dont want sitting there anymore. Can someone please help.

Even so, why does chokky want to remove this item; sounds like an external device is being controlled. So, it would be not such a goood idea to remove it.

For search I meant the search the forum button

well, most likely he's got a portable and he's getting the option to safely remove his floppy, cd-rom etc.
Perhaps better follow Poko's advice and not touch it
