If i have an avi that doesnt use ac3 codec, can it still be burnt to a dvd, if so can someone plz help a lot of my avi's have MPEG-1 Layer 3 audio codec.

Most avi/divx files have mp3 audio, very few have ac3. But in the conversion process, the mp3 can be converted to ac3 anyhow, check out the Tutorial linked above.
