      What is WAREZ??

      Thanks to gamefaqs.com, this "forum" now has a definition of Warez.
      I just wish these forum meisters would explain their myriad acronyms. Oh, well..
      Warez" is the generic term for copyrighted computer software that has been stripped of any copy protection or "cracked", and made available for distribution by software pirates.

      That one definition & gamefaqs.com can use it BUT

      On this Forum Warez is a generic term for all illegal matters to do with copying cracking & the like and the term "warez" is used to get the point across.

      I say there, Could you possibly see your way to add your definition, of warez, to the warez "warning" page? I believe that it would be appreciated by those for whom the term is unfamiliar.
