      I did notice that even after using the MFT tuneup option & the pagefile one that it didnt seem to be doin much, all those reboots & everything was still in the same place, checked out the link U posted & now have O&O, will be trialing it today

      Or try Perfect Disk 6 and run defrag on Boot. Takes an age, but it makes a real difference.

      Whats best is always subjective
      Imo perfectdisk and o&o defrag is the strongest (or only) contenders.
      Ive been using o&o for a loooong time. Depending on users skills\needs i usualy recommend perfectdisk though as i find it is more aimed at the average users needs

      i've only used norton's defrag when it was considered to be 1 of the best tool at the time,long ago but i only use either O&O or win2k/xp defrag(when i'm 2 lazy 2 install O&O)...never tried perfectdisk or voptxp
